GFRP Navigation Buoy The body of this buoy is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic(GFRP)with a isophthalic NPG gel coat exterier and unsaturated polyester resin interier. And the buoy is enhanced by a steel skeleton. All materials employed are highly resistant to severe marine environmental conditions.
The buoy is filled with closed-cell foam, which will prevent the ingress of moisture in the unlikely event of damage. The lightweight buoy is capable of supporting substantial loads. The buoy is designed to provide an excellent buoyancy. And the poly-tower design provides a huge visual area for navaid recognition. A large counterweight offers exceptional stability in a variety of exposed regions.
